Thus every cook is potentially referred to as a chef from the short-order chef as well as the chef in fine-dining. People working either directly or indirectly in the service of food preparation are said to be working in the sector of culinary arts.
There may be different kind of titles given to a chef, like executive chef, announcing chef, and also chefs depending on the type of food prepared.
