There are various kinds of door knobs, which can be different in designs, or their time of designing, means people still use the traditional varieties of the knobs.
There are also knobs being distributed made by different materials, like porcelain, metals, glassware etc. and the colour and shine depends on the material. Door knobs also came in leaded crystal, and controlled bubble glass, in a variety of colours.
The beauty of the door and main entry of the house is decided by the Door knobs itself.
So atleast think of these furniture things when you think of home improvement.
